Is there any way to set up nexia to send feedback information automatically so that third-party controllers don't have to continuosly request the feedback information. IE. sending a command for a level control when it is changed or sending meter levels back to the controller.

This may seem very strange to some, and I may be wrong, but Davinci is really a third party controller !

It poles the Nexia/Audia for all the relevant information required to display a page in real time.

It is therefore a lack of other third party controllers or their programmers, that make this a problem.

Garth.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to "subscribe" to a block to get continuous feedback information from it.

In some cases (like finding out the value of a level control), polling from a 3rd party control system is the only way to achieve this. In other cases, using a Command String block to send information back to the control system is a more efficient method, but obviously this only works for events that are detectable using logic.
