Ok this might also be a no-brainer, but is there any way to set the default state of the Gang control button.

The application is to lock together all toe zone levels in a design as a "master" level control method.

Everytime daVinci starts, the gang control is on, so when the user adjusts one zone they all get adjusted. The gang must only be switched on on the "master" page when needed.

Hi Mark,

Have you tried setting it as a popup with a button control to activate it.

Button control has DSP type of Application, Service of Open Popups, click on Popups to set the Toggle Button Control # of the gang control, you can even add a password.

Sorry, but I don't have a working unit with me to try. But surely if it is hidden under a popup,it should be inactive, or at least one would hope so.

Garth.

Hiding a control does not make it inactive or ineffective.

What's weird is I can create a toggle button as a gang control that defaults to off if no controls are assigned to it. As soon as controls are assigned it defaults to on.

What is needed is a property for toggle buttons that sets their default state

BiAmp should have made the gang control so that you could copy and paste it back into Audia/Nexia or perhaps that is where it should have originated from.

It could then be logic controlled, even scheduled and could have an On/Off control state set in the program.

Maybe you need to add this to your wish list for the next software version.

Sorry, Garth .
