This brings me to the question of why Nexia/Audia have to be online with a system so that you can allocate serial numbers/IP addresses.

I have a "customer" that thinks a VS8 is faulty, and to send him a replacement that I know the serial number of, is useless unless he knows how

to change the equipment list whilst online,assuming there is a local PC connected to the system, and then upload, and then upload the Davinci file.

Maybe Biamp could add an IP address or serial number ident to the properties folder of Nexia/Audia for hardware devices.
