Hello Biamp World!,

I am having a brain fart regarding 2 Nexias and Nex-Link, I cant remember if I need to have 2 comports from my Crestron Processor to control both box's or can I just have one and build My command codes for unit 1 or unit 2 the same as I would if it were done with its big brother system (Flex)?

Its been a while since I have had to do one like this, I am planing on only needing to talk to on of the 2 box's but just in case it would be good to know how to approach this.

Thanks,

Kris

Hi Kris

NexLink takes care for the audio, no control protocol on it... to control two (or more) units you need to have them hooked to a LAN switch (you will not be able to send a config without this topology) and then you choose to control via IP or one of the RS232 ports.

Cheers

Chris
