Hi! Today I installed a control system in a conference room and in the audio chain I found an old Biamp MSP-22e. We like to change between Preset 1 and Preset 2 via RS232, but i doesn't work! The string we send for Preset 1 is 0101007>008000! and for Preset 2 0201007>008000! . The control system is a Cue Delta, 38400 baud and RX/TX is properly connected. Please help.

First, are you able to control the unit with the Biamp Software? if yes what is the serial setting of the application, does it match you control system.

If you connect your computer directly to the unit are you able to trig the preset command with a software like rs232 Hex Com Tool ? are you able to get feedback if you sent a get input/output Level ?

If the baudrate match and your able to control the unit with your computer.

try to control it with the wire you use with your control system.

good luck
