where's my grid?

in the past when you were working on a layout live, and then disconnected to add blocks, you would then see a grid to

tell you that you were indeed disconnected. Most times now, I don't see a grid. What's changed?

To David,

Check your layout / grid settings in your task bar and make sure you have the 'show grid' and 'snap to grid' if you want that option ticked.

Also make sure you have not set your background to a darkish colour as you won't see the grid as well.

If you save your file with the 'show grid' unticked,it will always show it as unticked.

Remember to save it with the 'show grid' on.

I usually set my background in Nexia and Audia to a light grey as to avoid eye strain while programming.

But Davinci is different, if you have applied an image to the background, you won't see the dots at all.
