Has anybody played around with the new Audia/Nexia mod version 6.1?

We've run it on a few of our "guinea pigs" with 100% success. The on hook/off hook feedback has been nothing less than terrific.

My question is, has anybody found any bugs yet?

Thanks

Hi,

The Custom v6.2 module is available on request by simply sending an email to support@biamp.com. See the following link for more information.

http://forum.biamp.com/message/1826#1826

While a lot of our end users have already enjoyed benefits of this module and didn't report any issues, it seems like other Crestron programmers are divided... In the end, it sounds like we'll never be able to make everybody happy in this story as it often happens with any programming language. Bear in mind that in the end, Biamp tried to help our customers by providing new
features, without getting into the business of Crestron programming. The beauty of control programming is that unhappy programmers can always program
their own module if they feel that it doesn't fit their needs.

Bottom line is I always recommend to try it out yourself as it may fit your application perfectly fine and solve inherent issues of the module v5.1. The architecture was simplified quite a lot and a couple of bug fixes, support for Instance ID tags and better flow control have also been included in this new revision.

Hope this information helps,

Tony
