TI-2 card that is driven by a Cisco ATA VoIP interface....

Has anyone worked with this setup before?

I have a system that was designed with VoIP to analog phone line adaptor, this is the model http://tinyurl.com/2mohs2 I'm just not sure that it's working properly (or that it can). When I take the TI-2 card off hook, I get a dial tone that is fairly quiet and cannot dial any numbers (I hear no DTMF tones being generated by the TI-2), after about 3-5 seconds, the dial tone gets much louder and at that point you can dial numbers, but if you're not quick it will hang up on you.

I guess my question is, has anyone worked with this combination specifically and if they had success. Or, are there specific settings within the .dap that need to be set before I can expect it to work reliably? Unfortunatly, this system was designed before the VoIP card is available.

Hi Matt,

1, How do you dial? manually or by control system (crestron, amx.......)?

2. Look for the "wait for dial tone" function and turn it off ("no") you can find it in the properties of the dailer block.

I dial with a control system, Crestron using the v6.1 module from Biamp, I'll try the wait for dial tone change.
