Hello Sirblade:

Currently the RS232 control protocol has no attributes defined for the Generators blocks. You can, however, include a Level Control block after the Generator in your configuration file and control that via RS232 instead. That should give you mute and level control using the FDRMUTE and FRDLVL attributes.

Or you can employ a Router block to define which outputs will be fed with White noise. Additionally, you can create a series of Presets with some pre-defined routings and levels, and just have the Crestron recall them when required.

I hope this helps,

White noise generator
I am controlling a Nexis CS with a Crestron PRO2 processor using the Crestron modules v7.1.

I would like to know is there a way to control the white noise generator using RS232?

I have a case where the client would like to turn on a white noise so they can talk, but others in the room can hear them using some sort of white noise masking. Example would be we have the 6 outputs setup as 6 speaker zones of a room. They want to be about to white noise 5 zones while they talk in the 6th zone.

Thanks in advance.
