PC output to three Biamp D60EQ (amplifiers)
Hi Everyone,

I have two questions related to the Biamp D60EQ amplifier:

1) I want to use the output directly from a PC to three amplifiers (D60EQ.) We are not using a Nexia, etc...

Each amplifier is using eight speakers. I would like to know how to connect them, so the 24 speakers play the same sound.

2) I want to use a potentiometer to control the volume of the speakers connected to one amplifier D60EQ.

Can I use a 5 to 50K ohm potentiometer? The potentiometer is going to be near the speakers and far from the D60EQ, for that reason we cannot use the control lever in the D60EQ.

Muchas Gracias,

Vocia Earns EN 60849 & AS 60849 Standards Approval!

The Vocia excitement continues!

Vocia has once again been recognized as meeting stringent Life Safety standards. Even though Vocia already achieved the more difficult EN 54-16 product certification, we are proud to share that Vocia has been independently verified for use in EN 60849 and AS 60849 compliant life safety systems.

One more way that Biamp wraps up "peace of mind" with every Vocia system!
Command String Straingness????
Hello All,

I had a very straing thing happen to me today. I have a program that has 26 microphones that have a contact closer on them that is tied to 2 Logic box's which in turn unmutes the microphones with in the Flex units(2) when the Microphone is in the up potion.

The logic also goes to logic meters as well as to command string blocks that tell a Crestron system as to the state of the microphone (up or down). The issue I am having is that the command blocks where placed in in unit 1 but for some reason the strings were coming out of unit 2 if I manually place the blocks in unit 2 the strings came out of unit 1. Now the Crestron is sending all its commands to unit 1 through the comport on unit 1. It just so happend that the designer had a comport for each Flex from the Pro2 so that is how we were able to see this happening.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this? I checked the firmware on both units and it is .730 (I was un aware that .730 was out as there was no email blast that I saw saying there was an update). Could there be a problem with the Firmware I have not had this issue before with the .710 firmware.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hola Edwar

La forma como los agregas a tu programa es simplemente arrastrando los cuadros de dialogo correspondeintes, despues de ahi solo tienes que configurar las entradas y salidas de manera que funcione tu sistema como lo deseas. Si requieres ayuda solo dime

Saludos
Re: Old Audia files not loading

I had this problem recently with an older Audia Solo. I got the same error you had every time until I updated the firmware. This allowed the newer version of Audia software to connect to the unit.
